Wellpark Brewery: Part One

Beneath those giant lager cans there’s a lot of hidden history.

We’re here for the T and in this case it stands for T in the Park, one of the world’s biggest music festivals and T Break, known to bands and music fans throughout Scotland.

This music story begins in the 1980s when there was an incredible explosion of young Scottish music talent. However, as Tennent’s George Kyle remembers, Scotland lacked music infrastructure. Bands still felt they had to head to London to make it.

Tennent’s Live and T Break helped to change all that for bands such as TRAVIS, Snow Patrol and Biffy Clyro.
