Pause for a moment when we reach Film City, or Govan Old Town Hall – you’re probably ready for a break, we know we are!

The magnificent old town hall – which once rang to the sound of political debate, tea dances, protest meetings and boxing matches – is now a new centre of creativity.

As we continue walking we will pass other centres of community creativity. It’s also inspiring to note the vital and vibrant work of groups like Sunny Govan, Plantation Productions and GalGael, as much a part of Govan as shipbuilding history or the ancient culture embodied in the Govan Stones.
